My country is full of job seeking youths and the rate of unemployment in the country is very high. As of 2016 it was recorded that about 30 million graduates in the country are without jobs.That was alarming.

Are you ever looking for a Job?

I have never really been in a position where I was job seeking. When I graduated from school, I went for my national youth service corp in my country and I got a job during my service year, when I finished, the company retained me and so I worked with them for about three years before I resigned to start working for myself.

What is the easiest way to get a Job?

In my country, the easiest way to get a job without hassle is to know someone who is well positioned in the company or someone who can attest to your person and help you secure a job. This is one of the easiest ways to get a job over here.

Secondly you can apply online through the numerous job channels available but there’s usually no guarantee for the job because of the many persons who are seeking for the same job. The rate of unemployment is very high.

There was a case of over 500 persons applying for just a job vacancy that was made open in one company that my girlfriend applied for. Luckily she was chosen. You would have to be overly qualified to get the good job opportunities. You can also speak to your friends and relatives to help you look out for good job opportunities.

How difficult is it to get a Job? And what makes it difficult?

It’s very difficult to get good jobs over here. This is basically because of the lack of employment opportunities like I said. New jobs are not been created in the country and the people who occupy sensitive positions put their own persons whenever a job vacancy comes up. So you won’t even get to know about the vacancy.

Another reason for difficulty in getting jobs is that most graduates cannot defend their certificates. I’ve seen a lot of graduates who do not even know what they studied in school and can’t even speak good English or communicate effectively.

When they get the chance of getting a job, they simply find out that they can’t fit into the job opportunities because of their lack of preparedness.

What can be done if you can't find a Job?

If someone is finding it difficult to get jobs, you can start your own business no matter how little and grow from there. There are other businesses one can do online and make money from them.

I have had alot of my friends who we’re finding it difficult to get a job or they needed something flexible to do, I simple introduced them to steemit and they’ve been able to make something out for themselves through their consistency.

In conclusion, jobs can be difficult to find at times but we can always look for alternatives and steemit is a great option for a start.
