It's a pleasure to participate in this contest titled; “What Does Profession Mean to You”.
I will make my entry brief and easy to understand by explaining what the word; profession means, reasons why people should/ should not rely on one profession only, the profession I am currently engaging in and my opinion about this community.

Understanding Profession

The word profession is referred to a kind of job/ occupation that involves different field of expertise, education or training. For example, we have different types of professions and its branches which you can see in the below table;

The Profession I am Currently Engaging in

Currently, I am a business owner. I have equiped myself with a skill that I can fall back to at any given time.

In business, I have learned to be a problem solver by providing solutions to real life issues. So what type of business am I engaging in and what is it all about? I have HAIR BRAND that I am currently running.
Here are my services;

• Ventilation of closure and frontal
• Wig making
• Hair treatment ( revamping) and styling.

Apart from being a business owner, I am an information technologist; I create valuable content on steemit platform for both steemit users and non- user.

What I Think About People Relying on Just One Profession

With the current situation in the world, I wouldn’t encourage anyone to stick with just one profession. Diversifying source of income is the best in today's world.

My Opinion About Steem4Professionals Community

This community is simple to understand and contribute positively to as a member because it gives room to people with various professions to share their knowledge with others. This community is a good place to belong and get to learn new things everyday on various fields like; medical, business, education and many more. I appreciate the founder for coming up with such idea. My wishes to the community is of good and of course positive. Thank you!
