Are you familiar of a food originally made from the Philippines? This kind of food usually be found during birthday. This kind of food always serves because according to the Filipino belief. If you'll cook pansit everytime there's a birthday celebration. The birthday celebrant will have a longer life like a pansit.

Wait, this is not a pansit just for you to know. They looks similar but not totally. I want share a little bit idea about it why.

Pansit is a type of a main ingredients for a cuisine called pansit. Pansit called pansit when that main ingredient is longer like this. Actually there are two different types of pansit. They have different ingredients but they are still call pansit. The difference of this ingredients from other types of pansit is the main ingredient called "pansit bihon."

Ignore the spices and focus on that one ingredient in the right side. That ingredient is one of the main ingredient called pansit as well. But the main ingredient of it is called "mickey or fresh mickey." But still this type of cuisine or food is pansit.

Now, this image that I show in the first. It is called "bam-e" but why bam-e not pansit if the ingredients are still the same?

This kind of cuisine was called "bam-e" because for no reason. It's just called "bam-e" when the two types of main ingredients in pansit will be combined. The two ingredients means the "pansit bihon and mickey." The process of cooking still the same. You need to place the two types of the main ingredients so they'll be cooked at the same time.

It is always being called "bam-e" when the two types of pansit combines. Even though sometimes lack of the other ingredients. This type of cuisine still being called pansit. Bam-e cuisine is more delicious than pansit because of the other ingredients. However, when don't have enough budget. The ingredients are being limited and with just a simple spices. But in bam-e there should be a complete ingredients to taste it more delicious.

You have now a little bit of idea what types of food we have in the Philippines? Thank you for reading..
