Esta es mi participación al concurso de #nanonarrativa organizado por @acropolis. Si desea participar visite esta página. El reto de esta semana: escribir una historia en menos de 100 palabras a partir de la palabra carnaval.

Aunque el Carnaval trae gratos y divertidos recuerdos al común de los mortales, hay una cara sucia y violenta que en muchos barrios de Venezuela ninguna cantidad de agua puede lavar. Quise reproducir aquí la voz de ese barrio.

Llevo 20 años encana’. Tranquila. Gracias a mí, dejaron la guevona’. ¿Quién iba a pensar que la vaina se iba a poner tan ruda que ni agua iba a haber.
Dios castiga. Te mojaban, te echaban huevos, harina, no joda.
No sé quien coño inventó la jugadera con agua. Tan bonito que lo celebraba en otras partes.
Por más que le dije al marisco ese que no me mojara, me dijo, “¿en serio?” y PLASH!
Yo que venía arrecha. Cuando le saqué la pistola me dijo “no me mates”. ¿En serio? Y PUM.
Toma tu carnaval, mamaguebo! No me arrepiento.

Although the very word Carnival brings exciting and funny memories to most people, there is a dirty and violent face of it in many Venezuelan barrios that no amount of water can wash out or away. I meant to reproduce the voice of that barrio

I’ve been locked for 20. No sweat. Thanks to me, they stopped that shit. Who would have thought shit would get so bad they would not even have water.
God punishes. They soaked you in water, drenched you in eggs, flour, shit, fuck ‘em.
Who the fuck came up with playing with water. Anywhere else it is celebrated so beautifully.
I warned that mother fucker so many times, “Really?” he said and PLASH!
I was already pissed. When I pulled the gun he begged “don’t kill me”. Really? And BANG.
Take your carnival, mother fucker! No regrets.
