Thank you!
A great travelling post here my friend. I am also allergic to crowds and the shot that I like the most is that hot spring one in the countryside.
Blessings!
That was such a surprising place I went to. I do plan on going back there. Lots of great hot springs in Japan. I just don't have any very nice pictures of the place to do it justice. I've never travelled there with the intent of taking photos, but I plan to return in the spring.
Good and I am sure that in the spring you will do the place justice with your camera my friend.
I Googled the hot springs here and can you believe that the one where I had been has been claimed by a Casino.
They built the place with the hot spring at it's center, as a showcase.
How any government can allow this is way beyond my mind!
It's really sad when the government sells the rights to these places, especially if they are rare and unique. It should be in the public interest.
Totally agreed with you my friend. Unfortunately money rules!
Who cares about the public? Nobody!
Blessings!
I visited there when I was stationed in Japan many years ago. I liked it.

Oh neat. I had a friend who was a cook at a US Navy facility near Kitakyushu which is near the bridge to Honushu.
Going out of holiday season, not being swallowed up by crowds always the best time to travel.
Looking after trees was enlightening, quiet beaches another highlight in finding seclusion on the island.
Yes, vacation time is always great. I plan on going back to Japan soon. I usually visit at least once a year.
And lucky for you to live so close to Japan. What a wonderful place to visit, as is Korea, they both have such an interesting history and very different from the States from my perspective. Hot Springs were amazing and of course you wrote Such a wonderful piece on each and every picture with accurate descriptions, giving me much information. So thank you so much and it's always a pleasure to travel with you because you are such a great host.

I'm glad you like these stories. I had a lot of photos in my collection and I've been there so many times, I know the place pretty well. I don't need to rely only on online information or people who've been once or twice.
America is also a pretty awesome place. I haven't been there for more than an airport stopover for about 15 years now. I am hoping to go back for a visit. It's just so hard to choose which place it's more like a continent than a country.
Sorry! I bounced your tip and had to run to the bank to put in more money, honey! Let's try this again! Happy almost New Year!
