We have all experienced the grief of losing a loved one at least once in our lives. Sometimes it's unbearable. But we are comforted somehow because we have to live for other loved ones. But not so in the life of animals. We are the only ones in their lives. Hachi: A Dog's Tale is a movie that proves that.
The random encounter between Hachi and Mr. Parker eventually became Hachi's whole life. They shared a very deep and loving bond. It was Hachi's habit to wait outside the train station until Mr. Parker arrived every day. This was a scene familiar to all. But one day Mr. Parker didn’t come. But Hachi didn’t know that his master was on a journey that would never return! He waited until he comes. A day? Two days? No, 10 years!
The real Hachi was born in 1923 in Japan. His master, Dr. Eisaburo Ueno died in 1925. Hachi waited for his master to come for 9 years since then.
This is a very emotional experience that you can have. I end up in tears every time I watch this. This is so heart touching. I cannot explain how I feel. My heart is just weighted with so much pain. Why did this happen? How amazing is that loyalty? So, as a tribute to Hachiko's loyalty, a bronze statue of him has been erected in front of the Shibuya railroad station. Love animals, no doubt he will be your best companion for life. 💕
