Volumetric analysis
Bunsen burners, a tripod stand,
Med school, dissection
Embryology, pathology, physiology
And now this.

Serenity burns a hole in my soul
Medication. Solitude.
Slipping away from the multitude
In quietness and confidence
Energy and strength is found.

Take a fast from social media
Remove your earplugs
Switch off your cellphones
Displace insistent nostalgias
No television or favorite movies

Chill with Elohim,
King of the Universe

And the seconds turn to minutes
Hours swallowed in his presence

Designer of my destiny
Operator of my royal genes
Graceful king of timelessness
Lost in you.

And the minutes metamorphous to hours
O tranquil state of blessed bliss

Redeemer of my soul
Creator of the heavenly sun and stars
Of black holes and nebulae
Vast oceans, untrammeded
Space
And tiny man.
Worthy of undiluted worship
Worthy of sincerest praise

Lost in awe, wonder and love
I adore.....
