We often associate "work" with something boring and with something that tends to bind us in a way, but well... let me tell you, my friends, that Steemit offers a new way to work.

By working in Steemit you won't notice that you are actually working if you are a big fan of content creation, no matter if it's about taking pictures, writing, or whatever you create.

So this special day, well know at an International scale, I'd like to share with you some skills that Steemit is helping me to improve or develop, and the advantages that I find while being an active member of this amazing ecosystem.

I also invite you to create your own post. I'll nominate some of you, but all who want to join can do it freely.

The skills that I'm improving thanks to Steemit:

• Planification: Now I do much better organizing my days and my posts.
• Use of English: You can read a lot of posts in English here that at least for me is great, of course writing them it's a huge training as well.
• Getting familiar with other Languages: Yes! You can read posts in Bengali, Russian, Italian, and others, that despite not understanding, somehow we are establishing a relationship with them
• Improve my writing skills: practice makes perfect, right? A saying never more useful. Writing daily makes me improve every day.
• Engagement and responsibility: Create content is also known that other people are going to read, so you can't just write the post and run away, you need to be committed to the platform, and respond and read other content too. This is something that I also improve every day and that I try to commit myself to more and more.

Advantages of being an active steemian (at least for me)

• Improvement of my quality of life: many of you should know that salaries in Latin America are very low and in some countries, we have a lot of inflation, as is the case in Argentina or Venezuela. Inflation increases while salaries remain stagnant, therefore it becomes increasingly difficult to access things or even pay for the basics. Thanks to Steemit, I have regained a certain balance on this issue and I can project myself to achieve certain objectives that were being truncated.
• Freedom: I've always dreamt of becoming a freelancer, I love to manage my own time and to organize my work, Steemit has given me that
• Help others: I like to do things that actually mean something to other people, and not to dedicate my days to be simply a part of an office wherein sometimes I just did nothing more than being sited there. Thanks to the contests that I create and the picking for the Steemit Communities Support Program, I'm able to at least make a small movement and input that will mean something in another life.

This is what being an active Steemian means for me! And honestly, so much more, I just don't want to make this post so long.

Especial para el Día Internacional de los Trabajadores

A menudo asociamos "trabajo" con algo aburrido y con algo que tiende a atarnos, en cierto modo, pero bueno... déjenme decirles, amigos míos, que Steemit ofrece una nueva forma de trabajar.

Al trabajar en Steemit, no notarás que estás realmente trabajando si eres un gran fanático de la creación de contenido, sin importar si se trata de tomar fotografías, escribir o lo que sea que crees.

Así que este día especial, bien conocido a nivel internacional, me gustaría compartir con ustedes algunas habilidades que Steemit me está ayudando a mejorar o desarrollar, y las ventajas que encuentro siendo un miembro activo de este increíble ecosistema.

También te invito a crear tu propia publicación este día. Nominaré a algunos de ustedes, pero todos los que quieran unirse pueden hacerlo libremente.

Las habilidades que estoy mejorando gracias a #steemit:

• Planificación: Ahora me desempeño mucho mejor organizando mis días y mis publicaciones.
• Uso del inglés: Puedes leer muchas publicaciones en inglés aquí que al menos para mí es genial, por supuesto, escribirlas también es una gran forma de mantener el idioma activo.
• Familiarizarse con otros idiomas: ¡Sí! Puedes leer publicaciones en bengalí, ruso, italiano y otros, que a pesar de no entender, de alguna manera estamos estableciendo una relación con ellos.
• Mejorar mis habilidades de escritura: la práctica hace al maestro, verdad? Un dicho nunca más útil. Escribir a diario hace que mejore cada día más.
• Compromiso y responsabilidad: También se sabe que crear contenido que otras personas van a leer, por lo que no puedes simplemente escribir la publicación y huir, debes estar comprometido con la plataforma y responder y leer otro contenido también. Esto es algo que también mejoro cada día y con lo que intento comprometerme más y más.

Ventajas de ser un steemian activo (al menos para mí)

• Mejora de mi calidad de vida: muchos de ustedes deben saber que los salarios en América Latina son muy bajos y en algunos países tenemos mucha inflación, como es el caso de Argentina o Venezuela. La inflación aumenta mientras los salarios permanecen estancados, por lo que se vuelve cada vez más difícil acceder a las cosas o incluso pagar lo básico. Gracias a Steemit he recuperado cierto equilibrio en este tema y puedo proyectarme para lograr ciertos objetivos que se estaban truncando.
• Libertad: Siempre he soñado con convertirme en autónoma (actualmente mejor conocidos como freelancers), me encanta administrar mi propio tiempo y organizar mi trabajo, Steemit me ha dado esa posibilidad.
• Ayudar a los demás: Me gusta hacer cosas que realmente significan algo para otras personas, y no dedicar mis días a ser simplemente parte de una oficina en la que a veces no hago más que estar sentada allí. Gracias a los concursos que creo y la selección para el Programa de apoyo a las comunidades de Steemit, puedo al menos hacer un pequeño movimiento y aporte que significará algo en otra vida.

Esto es lo que significa para mí ser un Steemian activo, y honestamente, mucho más!! Solo que no quiero hacer tan largo este post.
