Sinopsis:
El Dr. Ian Grey está fascinado con el ojo humano, uno de los elementos de la biología que nos hace únicos y que las religiones de todo el mundo han utilizado como prueba del Creador Divino. Todos tenemos una biometría ocular única, y varias culturas han considerado el ojo como una ventana al alma o incluso la huella del pulgar de un creador. Grey quiere llegar al fondo de la evolución del ojo, trabajando con sus colegas Kenny y Karen. Entonces conoce a una modelo cuyos ojos le atrapan.
En una fiesta de Halloween, Ian tiene un encuentro sexy con una mujer casi enmascarada llamada Sofi obsesionandose con ella tras su abrupta despedida. Synopsis:
Dr. Ian Grey is fascinated with the human eye, one of the elements of biology that makes us unique and that religions around the world have used as proof of the Divine Creator. We all have unique ocular biometrics, and various cultures have regarded the eye as a window to the soul or even the thumbprint of a creator. Grey wants to get to the bottom of the evolution of the eye, working with his colleagues Kenny and Karen. Then he meets a model whose eyes grab him.
At a Halloween party, Ian has a sexy encounter with an almost masked woman named Sofi becoming obsessed with her after her abrupt parting. Fate however pulls him to an advertisement with Sofi's eyes portrayed, whom he eventually tracks down beginning a passionate affair with the woman who will change his life. Inevitably the mystical connection leads them down a very different path to the scientific one in which this story began.

Es sin duda una película interesante, inspiradora, de esas que te ponen a pensar y replantear todas tus creencias porque precisamente de eso se trata: Del eterno conflicto entre la ciencia y la religión. Con "I Origins", Cahill toma este conflicto interno, común en tantas personas, y nos muestra cómo un hombre de mentalidad científica experimenta lo que no puede explicar con la razón tradicional. Es una película sobre cómo el destino y el amor pueden llevarnos a revelaciones diferentes de las que podríamos haber alcanzado sin ellos. Cabe destacar la notable interpretación de Michael Pitt.

It is undoubtedly an interesting, inspiring film, one of those that make you think and rethink all your beliefs because that is precisely what it is about: the eternal conflict between science and religion. With "I Origins", Cahill takes this internal conflict, common in so many people, and show us a scientifically minded man experiences what he cannot explain with traditional reason. It is a film about how fate and love can lead us to different revelations than we might have reached without them. Of particular note is Michael Pitt's remarkable performance.
