On every street.
Even on the uniforms.
EVERYWHERE.
But why?
Symbols unite.
I am part of that.
Us vs. them.
It reminded them EVERY SECOND that they were part of a strong team.
Fighting against an evil enemy.
Since humans hate being alone.
This was very effective.
Lesson?
Reject any form of symbolism.
Repeat a simple message
The Nazis used this technique A LOT.
Because it’s a very powerful propaganda tool.
And it’s still used today.
If you constantly bombard the public with the same simple messages.
Sooner or later.
They will believe and remember it regardless of what you say.

ALWAYS question and cross-reference the information you hear.
Emotions
Fear...
Pride....
And hatred....
were leveraged to manipulate public opinion and justify cruelty.
If you kill millions.
But justify it by repeating how you are just saving the population.
And the future of the nation.

Always be aware of why you believe or do certain things.

Alternative viewpoints couldn’t get any attention.
Everything was saturated with Nazi ideology.
It’s crazy that we still see the same thing in today’s media…
Controlling the Narrative
The Nazi regime was expert at controlling the narrative.
They often rewrote facts to fit their agenda.
They manipulated the truth to create a false reality.
Where the regime’s actions seemed justified.
