Again facing issue of Shakib Al Hasan's return to the country

There have been several problems regarding Shakib Al Hasan's return to the country. He is currently staying in Dubai and was scheduled to return home today on October 17, but it has been postponed. This decision has been taken regarding his return mainly for security reasons. However, a final decision will be taken in the afternoon.

Shakib recently expressed his desire to play in the Test series against South Africa and has accordingly been included in the 15-man squad. Also, Shakib explained the reason for his silence on the movement in a Facebook post a few days ago, which has created mixed reactions among fans.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed some concerns about the safety of Shakib's return to the country. However, the sports adviser to the interim government has assured that there is no barring his return to the country.

It may be noted that Shakib was elected Member of Parliament from Magura-1 constituency, but due to the loss of his post as Member of Parliament following recent political events, he is currently focusing only on cricket.
