Unfortunately on Wednesday an ugly episode happened inside the Vatican Museums in Rome, I remember that these museums are part of the heritage of humanity and recognised by UNESCO, and that in Italy more and more incidents of this kind have been happening lately, I want to emphasise these things because I care about art and culture and I think they are something that should be preserved over time for future generations.

Practically on Wednesday, an American tourist in his fifties threw some busts inside the Vatican Museums to the ground, fortunately he was immediately stopped by the security guards, this person said he did it because he wanted to talk to the Pope, and when he was denied this he got angry and dropped these ancient busts, causing enormous damage, but fortunately all the fragments were recovered and the restoration work will start immediately. The worst was avoided, thanks to the promptness of the custodians who immediately stopped him and handed him over to the authorities for arrest, I think that in these cases an exemplary punishment is always needed, so that these things do not happen again, in fact a new law should come into force in Italy Siri will also risk arrest for up to 5 years in the case of damaging works of art.
