I am glad to share with you my entry for the contest in this hot news community. I will want to take this great opportunity to thank @fantvwiki for putting up and organizing this contest.

Just as he said, communities are what the blockchain is based on and these communities are created by individuals. I have seen a lot of communities that have died and have also seen some that have survived great hardship. A typical example is the @steem-ghana community that collapsed a few months ago.

However, thanks to the initiative of some great members that have brought up these communities. A new community which is now the Ghanaian community is @amazing-ghana. I hope and pray we can grow this new community to the peak and amazing as this new one. Without wasting much time I will like to dive into the contest itself by providing some basic answers to the guideline for the contest.

What is the name of the community you want to create?

Some may think from the introduction I will want to create a community that will be for Ghana. But that is not what I will do if I get the node. The community I will create will be a sports community. This community will seek to unite all aspects of sports including football, tennis, boxing, race, and all kinds of sports.

For a sports community that will help to unite all members on the blockchain who love sports, choosing a name for it should not be difficult and I would like to name it us @steemsports. Steem because it must be steemexclusive content only and the field of sports is attached to it because of the aspect of life we will be focusing on.

What is the theme of your community?

The theme for the community will comprise sports tools like the ball. Football will be the main object and within it will be tennis, hockey, and boxing gloves. At the moment, we are still working on achieving the theme of black and white as possible we can.

What traits do you expect from your community?

I must say, every community expects its members to share high-quality content and most importantly share plagiarism-free content. Those are the basic requirements for us and my community is expecting to pit up there. I also expect that our community will put in their best for the great success ahead. We will put the interest of our members ahead because they will make the community great.

I expect that this community will be the powerhouse for sports on the steem blockchain. I hope to make this community the best on the blockchain rendering support and rewards to their sports content creators.

What steps might you plan to take to move your community forward?

This is a crucial aspect of the community, which partly depends on whether the community will be successful or will collapse. And before you set up a community you should have these plans down in other to be able to secure and grow the community. Few of the ways for which I will employ include;

Organizing contests. Contests will be organized in various forms to be able to communicate and make the community active and to reward members' participation in it. These contests as usual will promote content sharing on the blockchain.

Powering up. It will be mandatory for every member of the community to power up at least 50% of their total ending in other to receive support from us. We will put measures by rewarding members who power up constantly to help them to do more.

Comments will be rewarded; Quality comments from members of the blockchain will be rewarded in other to help them move the community and make friends and make the community more interactive. To me every month the best commenter will be rewarded and he or she will receive great support from the team.
