THE PLACE WHERE I LIVE #1 : My Village is Hagu, Matangkuli District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province

I currently live in a village which is where I was born after having lived in several places due to the needs of my job as a veterinarian working in the North Aceh District Government.

Hagu is a name given by our ancestors to the Village where I live today which has a special history related to giving its name.

Hagu Village consists of 4 hamlets which are the administrative area of Matangkuli District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province - Indonesia.

Matangkuli is a sub-district known as Bumi Cut Nyak Meutia, an Acehnese heroine who is famous for fighting against Dutch colonialism, whose traces are still being found at Cut Nyak Meutia's house and his tomb is located in Pirak Timu District.

The Cut Meutia House (Aceh Traditional House) is now used as a tourist location located in the Meunasah Mesjid Village of the Pirak Mosque, while the Cut Nyak Meutia Tomb is located in Pirak Timu District which is in the process of building a road to the grave site.

Matangkuli district consists of 47 villages, one of which is Hagu Village where I currently live.

Matangkuli District is also the operational area of Exxon Mobil Indonesia, which has been engaged in drilling for oil and liquefied natural gas since the 80s.

Matangkuli District is located very close to the capital of North Aceh District in Lhoksukon District, where the headquarters of the Regent's office and the North Aceh District House of Representatives are located on Landeng. (100 meters from my father-in-law's residence).

Matangkuli district is a well-developed district in North Aceh Regency which was once very large and is now divided into 4 districts, namely;

Matangkuli District has a population with a dominant livelihood as farmers and various other professions such as traders and civil servants.

I am very happy to live in the village of my birth with a rural atmosphere and the familiarity of the residents even though there are a few problems with frequent floods in our area.

I like the natural atmosphere of the countryside with air quality that is still fresh and far from pollution. I like to walk around the village with my daughter in the afternoon around the rice fields in my village.

By moving back to the village where I was born, I can carry out my hobby of raising livestock and other things.

In Matangkuli District there are also many active steemians including my children. Some of these steemians are @lutfihakim12, @aisyahmychun, @safridafatih, @marianihumain, @maryulis, @suryani78, @wirdahanum, @khairiani, @idaali, @ellia, @hhusaini, @ernaerningsih, @iss, @ninaa04, @ozzarm, @asamkana1 and many other steemains.

Whatever the conditions in the village where I was born, I am very happy to be able to live here and be close to my Big family so that I can take care of my parents in their old age.

I also like the natural atmosphere of the countryside which is still far from pollution which is good for my physical and mental health.
