Antalya Side Trip///Antalya Side Gezisi

Hello Dear Friends,

Today I want to talk to you about the Side trip I went to last year. I live in antalya. It is approximately one and a half hours from Side to Antalya. Side, which opened its doors to the Macedonian king without any resistance during Alexander the Great's Anatolian campaign (334 BC), later turned into a large coin printing center established by Alexander the Great.

Bugün sizlerle geçen yıl gitmiş olduğum Side gezisinden bahsetmek istiyorum. Ben Antalya da yaşıyorum. Side Antalya arası yaklaşık bir buçuk saattir. Side Büyük İskender'in Anadolu seferinde (MÖ 334 ) hiçbir direniş göstermeden kapılarını Makedonya kralına açan Side, sonraları İskender'in kurmuş olduğu büyük bir sikke basım merkezine dönüşmüş.

When you set foot in Side, you think that you are wandering through the old memories of history. The port, the sea. ancient cities and theatres. It is a city of unique beauty with its baths and tombstones. When you think about the wars to take this city, you can see how much of a cultural center it was in the Eastern Mediterranean. You can find horse carriages in the center to wander around the city. Or you can get on the closed long cars with small diameter wheels. Since I went in the middle of July, the weather was really hot, you can take a hat or a small umbrella with you for sightseeing. You must have water, you are thirsty from the heat while walking.

Side'ye ayak bastığınızda kendinizi tarihin eski anılarında gezinti yaptığınızı düşünüyorsunuz. Ya da küçük çaplı tekerli kapalı uzun arabalara da binebilirsiniz. Ben Temmuz ortasında gittiğim için hava gerçekten çok sıcaktı, gezmek için yanınıza şapka veya küçük bir şemsiye alabilirsiniz. Suyunuz mutlaka olmalı, gezerken sıcaktan susuyorsunuz.

I really liked Side's museum. This museum, which was built in the 2nd century, is located in a bath building that has survived to the present day with some additions made in the 5-6th century. This is a bath from the Roman period.

Benim Side'nin müzesi çok hoşuma gitti . 2. yy da yapılan bu müzede 5-6 yy bazı eklentiler yapılarak günümüze kadar ulaşmış bir hamam binasında bulunuyor. Burası Roma Döneminden kalan bir hamammış.

Among the exhibits, statues, torso portraits, embossed sarcophagi and ostotheques, tomb stelae, inscriptions, altars, amphorae (structures used to carry grain, olives, olive oil and wine), most of which were found in the excavations of the ancient city of Side, architravy (beam built on a column) column The headline and the coins attract a lot of attention.

Sergilenen eserler arasında çoğunluğu Side antik kenti kazılarında bulunan heykel, torsa portreler, kabartmalı lahit ve ostotekler, mezar stelleri, yazıtlar, sunaklar, amphoralar( tahıl, zeytin, zeytinyağı ve şarap taşımak için kullanılmış olan yapılar ) arşitravy ( Bir sütün üzerinde kurulan kiriş ) sütun başlığı ve sikkeler çok dikkat çekiyor.
