Photo Contest Theme | City Photography | Helix Bridge SGP

Hello everyone. This kinda looks like a continuation of my previous contest post. 😅 Anyway, happy reading.

Touch down! Welcome to the Lion City - Singapura! This city is small in land area but packed with art and architectural aesthetics. I would like to present to you one of Singapore's famous bridges and architectural marvel, The Helix Bridge

You can visit the bridge anytime of the day but also try to see it during the night. We visited at night because we wanted to see it so pretty with all the lights over the Marina Channel

The nerd in me was surprised to see these pairs of illuminated letters on the path. This was a bonus attraction for me. Im glad that they included it in the aesthetics of the bridge.

What do those letters mean? Welp.. Deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA was the design inspiration for the Helix Bridge. These letters represent the building blocks of DNA which are (A)denine, (T)hymine, (C)ytosine and (G)uanine.

Pairs along the bridge got me thinking that they are like a genetic sequence. If it isnt a random sequence then is it of human or another creature DNA they put out there? If human, who is the lucky DNA owner? Should i start googling it? 🤔 Naaah just leave it as is. Just enjoy the night. 😆 Those were the thoughts that run through my head as i walked that curved bridge.
