Steem-Travelers : Senneville Waterfalls - Visited it for the first time and wow what a magical place!
Greetings of the day Steem-Travelers family! It's been long that I wrote here...oh well I was just so busy specially with the end of year festivities where I had so much work to do!
But now things have calmed down and I gave the team 5 days off...we will be back open on the 7th of January 2022!
Being less busy these days, I took this opportunity to make an outing with my family yesterday and we decided to go to a place we have only seen in photos and videos so far :
Senneville Waterfalls!
As it is situated in a place not easily accessible, you will find very little people over there...
Waterfalls just infront of the ocean...
What a wonderful sight...
Despite the long travel to reach there + the bumpy roads + difficult walk till the waterfalls, it is definitely worth it...

Got a bungalow to use for the day...
Thanks to my niece, her friend lent us the key of the bungalow to keep our belongings...
Here's my family enjoying the amazing view from the bungalow terrace!
5 minutes walk from the bungalow...
To reach to the hidden gem's location, you will have to walk like 5 minutes...
And here it is...
The kids were among the first to reach the waterfalls...
And we also went under it to enjoy the fresh water...
Being under the falling water is like getting a natural massage...it was so refreshing indeed!
Other small ponds /pools around...
You will also find small ponds/pools...both in the sea and near the river!

And Omar...what a surprise! Usually he does not like the beach/sea and yesterday he just loved it so much!

I took a real lot of photos of that memorable visit and also some videos...hmmm I will see how I can share more of this visit some other time...
This is only half of my family who were there yesterday!!!
If you are travelling to Mauritius some day...I would advise you to put this place on your bucket list!
Though it won't be easy going there (many Mauritians themselves don't know how to get there!) , but I will surely help you out! Just let me know!

The fact that many locals don't know that place (or at least how to get in there) makes it even more special. I'm pretty sure that if I'll visit your country someday, that will be one of those destinations that I will have to see. You motivated me even to check the flights - it's not cheap to get in there from Argentina, but it's achievable in the long term

Yeah that's so true, if the place was more frequented by people, it will no longer be that 'special!' Oh yes, Mauritius is an expensive destination, but if you ever have the chance to come over, it will be such a pleasure welcoming you and assisting where I can.
By the way...in the past I have already met many Steemians over here, it was very nice meeting up!
