But first, let me tell you more about this farm.

This is owned as well by the same company which manages South Palms, a white sand resort in Panglao island itself and of which is very well known for its five star service and amenities.

From the entrance, we were greeted with this gate with the name of the farm engraved on a wood. This looked really nice and so we decided to take a group photo first!

There's an entrance fee of Php 198 for adults and those who are two years old and above. We have three toddlers with us and an infant. It was scorching hot that day but the enthusiasm of the kids didn't fade as we hopped from one spot to another.

Our first stop was the Bamboo propagation. We had nothing much to do here but just to appreciate the beauty of these bamboos around. They made it in a way that it resembles that tourist spot in Japan except that these bamboos are still young and short, yet, they still look lovely on photos.

Of course, we took advantage of the chance that there were no other customers yet except us. So we had photos of each other together with the kids.

And now it's time to see the Guinea pigs! Matti was held by my mother that time as we look down on the house which is the home of the guinea pigs! There were numerous cuties around this area and some became excited and greeted us while there were others which just stayed inside their cute and colorful houses!

There's a farmer around who had helped us with some information about the guinea pigs. They look like hamsters but they are bigger. They somehow also resemble the rats but these are bigger than house rats and of course much cuter.

These lovely animals can be fed, we were given stalks with leaves on them which they munch on dearly. They look even more adorable as they munch on their food. But it seemed like they were already full, perhaps, some visitors had fed them earlier today.

But still, there were some which came up to us and entertained us. I wished to hold it though but they smell differently and I don't want to get that into my hands because I am taking photos on my camera too. Perhaps next time, I will do that.

We also offered that the kids hold them too but they were kinda scared whenever the farmer bring one near them so we just left the guinea pigs and proceed to the next animal. I'll share that in the next posts!

Here's our group photo at the area where we paid the entrance fees and where we were given the orange tag stickers on our wrists which signifies that we had paid for the entrance fees. Also, it was scorching hot that day too, they have umbrellas available but they will only let you bring one if you deposit a Php 100 bill. It will be returned after though.
