Don't be late to wake up in the morning, your sustenance can be pecked by a chicken. Where I grew up, parents used to say that phrase to children who were still asleep when the sun had risen. Somehow the scientific correlation, but we believe it.

Talking about people getting up early means talking about routines that are likely not interesting to discuss. Or it could be interesting, but not this time. On this occasion we will talk about the race to wake up early with the sun.

The early riser race with the sun is not a literal topic. Just a metaphor that just popped into my head while climbing the peak of Mount Burni Telong.

Burni Telong is the most famous and widely climbed mountain in Aceh. One of the reasons why Burni Telong is in great demand is because of its stunning beauty and the tracks that are not too difficult to get to.

It doesn't seem too interesting to give too much information about the geographical conditions, routes, and also the distance to Burni Telong. If you are interested in climbing this mountain, please contact me personally. I will be happy to accompany you to the top until you return with many memories and experiences. and if you are lucky, believe me, your new friends will also increase.

But I will share a little experience before the sun wakes up at the top of Burni. This mountain with an altitude of 2617 meters above sea level can be climbed in 6 hours of climbing. Usually we do it in two stages. Our first climbing stage started in the afternoon for 3 hours, then camped and rested. Then continue the next ascent when it is past midnight with an estimated time of arriving at the peak before sunrise.

Another thing I can share is some of the documentation that I captured with the camera. I hope to persuade you to be interested in climbing. A little advice that I can say if you are interested in climbing in the future, don't do it because you want to look cool or just want to have a lot of friends. Do it to learn a lot from nature and feel grateful to God.

In my climbing perspective, the top of the mountain is a bonus. The main prize is a journey to struggle during the climb and be able to return home safely. During the climb too many special experiences that are impossible to describe in words, even though I tell you here. Trust me, you have to come here and have the experience for yourself.
