FavoriteMovie Contest: "The Cabin"- by @vanessa-04
Hi everyone at Steemit, it's a pleasure to greet you!
In these moments of pandemic, it is no secret that most of us have spent many hours watching TV, or our phones, without a doubt the greatest form of distraction, so it is It made it hard for me to pick my favorite movie, but here we go.
Well, my favorite movie, which I have seen many times and I get emotional in the same way as the first time, is called The Cabin, it is a Christian movie but it leaves a good message.
It is a family very faithful to God, who attended church every Sunday. On any given day, the father goes camping with his children in the forest, there are three of them, two young men and a 5-year-old girl, because while the young men share in the Lagoon, the girl stays with dad on the shore, in that one of the young people begin to drown and dad runs to help him when they return to shore the girl was not there..
They began to search desperately for her and she did not appear... then as the days went by, the police called the family to tell them that they had found the dress that the girl had, it was there when they said that in that forest there was a man who kidnapped and raped the girls and then he murdered them... Well, that was indeed what happened with the little girl...
Her father was filled with a lot of anger and rage and blamed God for what had happened to the little girl... he stopped going to church he was no longer the same he became bitter...
Until one day he receives a letter with the same address where they had found the little girl's dress, he starts his journey to the place he is armed thinking that he would meet the rapist... But to his surprise it was God who summoned him to explain the why of things... well, it turns out that he had not had a pleasant childhood at all... His father was an alcoholic and received a lot of mistreatment from him.
The moral of the film is about forgiveness and mercy, I could spend a lot of time telling you about the film but I invite you to watch it, it is very good and explains many things that we have sometimes asked ourselves after losing a loved one.

Esta es una de mis películas cristianas favoritas, pues atrapa lo majestuoso que es Dios y la muestra de su misericordia, además contiene secretos que muchos no llegan a comprender.
