Hello everyone, this time I will share one of my favorite series, The Witcher.
The Witcher - Review
The Witcher or El Brujo in Spanish is played by Henry Cavill (Superman) and was released in 2019. It is a series inspired by the famous video game of the same name. It currently has 2 seasons.
The Witcher takes us to a medieval world full of fantasies and dark magic, in the style of the Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. So if you like that style of series, you may like this one.

Geralt of Rivia is the main character in this story full of drama, adventure and exciting battles. Geralt is a sorcerer who uses his powers alone to kill dark creatures that interrupt people's peace. Let's say that he is a bounty hunter, since citizens or governors pay him to fulfill missions that no one else would dare to do.
Geralt is not a witch by birth, he is a human who has been mutated into a witch with amazing powers. He was raised and trained by a group of witches in which they made him one of the team.
The first season of this series is very exciting. The warlock accomplishes a couple of missions by killing some monsters that are stalking the humans.
Geralt is feared by everyone, just by seeing his necklace in the shape of a wolf, people know that he is a witch and whoever messes with him could have serious consequences.
Meanwhile, a human with elven blood and body deformities is handed over to a group of sorceresses. At first her training seems to be that she does not give the expected results but this woman named Yennefer will become one of the most powerful and main characters in this story.
On the other hand, the kingdom of Cintra is about to be invaded by Nilfgaard's army. Geralt is currently imprisoned in that kingdom due to a disagreement with the queen. Princess Ciri flees from the invasion, after a surprising event.
But a Law of surprise will lead Geralt to follow his destiny in search of Princess Cirilla through the magical and dangerous forests of this world.

This has been a summary without spoilers because I would like you to see it and know your opinions. In my opinion the series tries to follow the story of the game not so much in details obviously, but they do a good job. The truth is that I have loved the seasons that it currently has so I will give it 10/10 for the setting, acting and history.
The series is so exciting and action-packed that you can watch it in just one day.
