Today I want to talk a little about a game that is about to be released and that has caught my attention. Stray, is an adventure game where we will have control of a stray cat.

Just as you read it, we will be a cat, something unusual in current video games. For this reason and many more things that I will mention in this review is that it has caught the attention of the gamer community who are waiting for its launch this year on the Steam platform. Let us begin...

Stray - Review

Currently very little is known about the story, but what is known is that our furry character will be lost in this abandoned city and the main objective is to find the way home to reunite with his family.

We will control our peculiar feline character in the third person and we will enter it into a forgotten CyberCity with exceptional gameplay. Our character has realistic animations and behaviors more typical of a feline. Like jumping on rooftops, being scared of anything, leaning against robots to show appreciation, etc.

With the help of friendly robots or androids and our ability to solve puzzles we will be able to complete missions. But how will we talk to the robots? Let's have a friend called B-12, a mini drone that will help us communicate with the robots that inhabit the city.

But the robots will not be the only beings that inhabit this cybercity, we will also find creatures similar to giant mice that will prevent us from completing the missions.

Speaking a bit about the setting. We play in a futuristic world in the Cyberpunk style, with a post-apocalyptic and/or abandoned environment, full of dangers and puzzles to solve.

The graphics look great, they're well done, and the neon light reflections make the scenes more realistic. We see a futuristic city but at the same time in decline or forgotten. The aesthetics of the game is incredible, without a doubt this is one of the most attractive things about the game. This game is designed and developed on Unreal Engine 4.

Something curious is that the setting is inspired by the city of Kowloon, it was a forgotten city without a government in Hong Kong.

Platforms and launch.

The game will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (Microsoft Windows) this year (2022), the exact date is unknown.

Conclusion

We have a fascinating and unusual game that mixes an adventure, mystery and puzzle game, where we will see a huge cyber city from the eyes of a stray cat.
