We saw many churches on our visit and there is much to admire archectually, but I love the stained glass windows of churches and this church did not disappoint. A large round window had me staring at it for many minutes it was amazing but I wonder why I often see so many of these imposing monuments as so dark inside. If they were, yes no electricity was built, but they must have been very dark gloomy places back in the day. The window didn't let much light in, especially on our visit, it was too dark outside, but lit candles didn't give much light. It's a shame really, because they're really gorgeous structures.
The church is very beautiful and it's very close to the train station. You can easily find it on the way to the beach.

This church is as big as a small skyscraper. And such churches can stand for years without being destroyed.
I think the old architecture and construction was much more solid and of good quality.
