"Haunted Attractions and Witty Replicas: A tale of Dual Delight at the Amusement Park" | My Entry For Architectural Photography - Week 57
I am sharing some spooky and fun replica photos for this week's Architectural Photography Contest on CCS Community.
I visited Shopnopuri amusement park on sudden tour once this year. House of horror seems to be the most interesting spot in this park. Houser of Horror is surrounded by scary replicas that can be frightening or entertaining for kids. But teenagers or adults may find them a bit funny.
In my childhood, I could have been a little afraid if I had seen these frightening replicas. The way these replicas are made is really appealing. Although they are also built for fun purpose, this type of architectural installation often causes fear in children or creates curiosity in their mind towards an unrealistic structure, which is not desirable at all.
When I went to the House of Horror area of the amusement park I was having some fun looking at the spooky replicas here. But later on, I realized that making a replica of this shape in a public amusement park is not really reasonable, because visitors of all ages will come here to visit. Hypersensitive kids might react negatively after seeing those replicas and not enjoy coming to this park.
Since everyone comes here for entertainment, I believe the park authorities should have thought twice before creating such terrifying replicas. Alternatively, the authorities of the park could have implemented age restrictions for entry into the House of Horror area.
