Hello Steemian in CCS Community Everyone

How are you all today, I hope you are doing well wherever you are

On this occasion, I want to share a snapshot of the lives of traditional fishermen that I captured on the coast of my region. Some time ago, I took the time to visit a fishing village that still holds fast to the traditions passed down through generations in earning a living from the sea.

As we know, coastal communities largely depend on the sea for their livelihood. They work together with enthusiasm, even with simple equipment. This was clearly evident when I witnessed the fishermen preparing their boats. With steady steps, they pulled their boats to shore, carrying large nets that would soon be cast out to sea.

The method used is very traditional: a trawl or net. This net is anchored in the sea, then slowly and simultaneously pulled back by the group of fishermen. Physical strength, cooperation, and patience are truly tested in this process. Each pull of the net is not only a struggle to catch fish, but also a symbol of togetherness in preserving their ancestral traditions.

Through the series of photos I present, the silhouettes of fishermen struggling under the hot sun are clearly visible, blending with the shimmering waves. The black-and-white photo adds a dramatic touch, as if emphasizing that the life of fishermen is a constant struggle against time, nature, and economic challenges.

For me, what these fishermen do is not just a job, but also a cultural heritage worthy of appreciation. They represent the resilience of coastal communities who continue to maintain harmony with the sea. Hopefully, this simple story can serve as a reminder of the value of fishermen's hard work in bringing seafood to our tables every day.

Dude, these are great photographs. I love that, depending on the angle from which I look at them, they seem to fluctuate between deep black, which turns the figures into silhouettes, and a gradation of light playing with the fishermen's contours and skin.

The play with the sun in the background was very interesting; the third photo is almost a halo around the fisherman's head.
