Un saludo cordial deseándoles lo mejor en este nuevo año que recién inicia. Hoy me uno al concurso de fotografía de calle de la ciudad de Betijoque, Estado de Trujillo. Venezuela. Estuve de visita en Betijoque hace ya casi un mes, aprovechando de hacer labor social en un ancianato que allí se encuentra. Luego sali a recorrer la avenida principal y aproveché para tomar alguna fotos de sus calles, que por la hora (cerca del mediodia) se encontraba relativamente sola.
A cordial greeting wishing you the best in this new year that has just begun. Today I join the street photography contest in the city of Betijoque, State of Trujillo. Venezuela. I was visiting Betijoque almost a month ago, taking advantage of doing social work in a nursing home that is located there. Then I went out to walk the main avenue and took the opportunity to take some photos of its streets, which at the time (around noon) were relatively alone.

Betijoque es una ciudad cercana a donde vivo, ubicada a unos 550 metros sobre el nivel del mar, contrasta en el clima con los municipios andinos del Trujillo. Yo vivo en un pueblo que está por encima de los 1800 metros de altura. Comparada con mi pueblo, me gusto lo amplio de sus calles, lo amplio en la distribución de las casas. Y el clima templado que se disfrutaba.
Betijoque is a city close to where I live, located about 550 meters above sea level, it contrasts in climate with the Andean municipalities of Trujillo. I live in a town that is above 1800 meters high. Compared to my town, I liked how wide its streets were, how spacious the distribution of the houses was. And the mild climate that was enjoyed.

La fotos fueron capturadas en hora del mediodía, cerca de las 13 horas. Me fui caminado hacia la terminal de autobuses, y recogí una serie donde destaca la cúpula de la iglesia mientras me iba acercando.
The photos were captured at noon, around 1 p.m. I walked towards the bus terminal, and picked up a series where the dome of the church stands out as I approached.
