Today I'm doing different things in real life.Most importantly, I started making a warm winter camera box. While the patterns have been made, the necessary materials have almost been selected. When I do, I'll show you and tell you.

The thing is that winter began quite violently without a swing. It looks like a bull run. Only instead of an increase in exchange rates, we have an increase in frost. And this is just the beginning of winter. It also happens that a thaw will come and the snow will melt by the New Year. It happened once before. But I have to be ready for the frosts.

The problem lies in two points (I'll just keep silent about the hands). At low temperatures, the battery capacity is significantly reduced. I have five batteries, but they are all old and I have to change them often in the cold. At the same time, if they are warmed up (in a pocket or glove), they continue to work. But again, not for long. There shouldn't be such a problem in a warm box.

The second important point. At low temperatures, the camera is basically functional. But I remember how at -30C the camera monitor was covered with colors of fatigue. It's the same with the viewfinder. The cold glass is sweating from the warm moist eye and you can't see anything again. By the way, when the monitor was not working, the camera continued to work properly.

But these are not all the problems of the cold chamber. After returning home, you should not rush to unpack and warm it. It will be covered with frost, fogged up. And not only outside, but also inside.This can lead to condensation with all the ensuing consequences (here fantasize for yourself). When you come home, you need to put the camera in the coolest place in the house without unpacking. It should heat up slowly, gradually. And then it would not be superfluous to dry it additionally next to a heat source.

I can avoid all these dancing with a tambourine if my cell stays warm outside. To do this, you need a box with two holes: for the lens and for the viewfinder. That's what I've been working on lately. Winter is already outside the window, frost is 10C.

To warm up a little, I decided to go to the summer archive and admire the forest and mushrooms.

Сегодня я занимаюсь разными делами в реале.САмое главное, я начал делать тёплый зимний бокс для камеры. Пока сделаны выкройки, почти подобраны необходимые материалы. Когда сделаю, покажу и расскажу.

Всё дело в том, что зима началась достаточно бурно без раскачки. Это похоже на бычий забег. Только вместо роста курсов валют мы имеем рост мороза. И это только начало зимы. Бывает и так, что настанет оттепель и к Новому году снег растает. Однажды такое уже было. Но я должен быть готов к морозам.

Проблема заключается в двух моментах (про руки я просто промолчу). При низких температурах емкость аккумулятора значительно снижается. Аккумуляторов у меня пять штук, но все они уже старенькие и на морозе приходится их часто менять. При этом, если их отогреть (в кармане или перчатке) то они продолжают работать. Но опять недолго. В тёплом боксе такой проблемы не должно быть.

Второй важный момент. При низких температурах камера в принципе работоспособна. Но я помню, как при -30С монитор камеры покрылся цветами побежалости. То же самое с видоискателем. Холодное стекло потеет от тёплого влажного глаза и ты опять ничего не видишь. Кстати, при нерабочем мониторе камера продолжала исправно работать.

Но это не все проблемы холодной камеры. Вернувшись домой вам не стоит торопиться её распаковывать и греть. Она покроется инеем, запотеет. И не только снаружи, но и внутри.Это может привести к появлению конденсата со всеми вытекающими последствиями (здесь фантазируйте сами). Придя домой, камеру нужно положить не распаковывая в самое прохладное место в доме. Она должна нагревать медленно, постепенно. А потом не лишним будет просушить её дополнительно радом с источником тепла.

Всех этих плясок с бубном я могу избежать, если на улице моя камера будет оставаться тёплой. Для этого нужен бокс с двумя отверстиями: для объектива и для видоискателя. Вот над решением этой задачи я и работаю в последнее время. Зима уже за окном, мороз -10С.

Чтобы немного согреться, я решил отправиться в летний архив и полюбоваться лесом и грибами.
