THE DIARY GAME: 11 August 2023 | 📝 Friday is the best day of the Week
How are you all?
Welcome to my blogging! I am Mohammad Sumon, I am from Dhaka district, the capital of Bangladesh. I'm here today with a diary game post.
Friday is the best day of the Week |
---|
4.50 am, left the bed, and woke up to go to the mosque! Alhamdulillah, I prayed for Fajar. At the end of the prayer, Imam Sahbe expounded on the Qur'an for about an hour. Tafseer on the Quran is held every Friday after Fajar in our area mosque.
One of the days of the week is Friday. Friday prayers make the day special for the Muslim community. I know from the internet and religious books that the word juma is Arabic. Meaning to come together, combine, line up, etc. Since on certain days of the week, believers-Muslims gather at the same place at a certain time and perform this prayer instead of Zuhr prayer in congregation, that is why this prayer is called 'Friday prayer'. Friday is the best day of the week, or Hajj day for the poor. This day has a lot of importance and significance in Islam.
I came home, had breakfast, and then went out for the necessary shopping. I try to do the whole week's shopping on the weekend. Basically, I bought mango, broiler chicken, fish, and vegetables today. Anyway, after all the shopping, I went home.
Item Name | Price In BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) | Price In STEEM |
---|---|---|
Broiler Chicken (Per KG) | 180 taka | 9.18 STEEM |
Pangasius Fish (Per KG) | 200 taka | 10.21 STEEM |
Mango (Per KG) | 130 taka | 6.63 STEEM |
After taking a bath and waiting for a while, I got ready and went to the mosque. I try to go to the mosque quickly on Friday. Alhamdulillah, after listening to the important Islamic speech from the imam, I finished the prayer.
It started raining outside. I came home after Namaz and was waiting for my wife to finish Namaz. Playing with my daughter, we started having lunch after finishing her namaz. After eating, we rested for a while. The quality of food here is quite high, and even today, the food was unmatched in taste.
Performed Asar and Maghrib prayers on time. So on Friday evening, at my request, I and my wife went to a traditional Kallu Kabab Ghar in Banarsi Palli, Mirpur, for a meal! Going there, we ordered chicken chapa and luchi. Food is prepared within 15–20 minutes of ordering. I have been here many times before, but I brought my wife for the first time.
Food Name | Price In BDT (Bangladeshi Taka) | Price In STEEM |
---|---|---|
Chicken Chapa (Per Quater) | 150 taka | 7.65 STEEM |
Luchi (Per Piece) | 10 taka | 0.51 STEEM |
Alhamdulillah, we ate with great satisfaction. After eating, we directly reserved an autorickshaw and went home. A charge of Tk 90 (BDT) has to be paid for autorickshaw reserve.
My stomach was fairly full, so we did not eat extra food tonight. After my daughter fell asleep, my wife slept, and I lay in bed for a while and browsed Steemit.
