This is Piya from Bangladesh. Today is 21st February and today is International Mother Language Day. It is a special day for every Bengali people. Today is a day of glory for Bengalis. There is no example in history of giving one's life for the love of mother tongue. That is why we are proud Bengali.

Every year on this day all the citizens of Bangladesh regardless of religion, caste, age go to Shaheed Minar (Monumental built in memory of language martyrs) to show respect to the great language martyrs. Here I am sharing the Shaheed Minar 's photo of my town. Also, every school, college, university and government institution in our country has a Shaheed Minar to commemorate them. It means a lot to us. Every Bengali letter (অ, আ, ঋ, ঔ,ঞ ect) of Bengali alphabet is our love.

I finished my breakfast and went to the balcony. I have a small garden there. Today a flowering plant in the garden bloomed after a long time. The name of the plant is Purple Heart, but this plant has light pink flowers. A tomato plant is also blooming. Tomato flowers are small yellow flowers. I take some pictures of those flowers.

Then I spend time with my nephew. He is only 7 years old. We played for a while and we eat a KitKat chocolet. This chocolate was gifted by one of my good friends. I like to eat this chocolet but my nephew loved this KitKat very much.

We play with colour. It is oil pastle colour. We draw pictures and he leave my room to watch cricket on TV.

In the afternoon I go to the roof. I went to the roof and saw that the sun had almost set. The sun has assumed a crimson hue. I take pictures of the sun. The resolution of my phone camera is low so I could not capture the photo of the sun very well.You will still see the red glow of the sun when looking at the image.

Then I come back home and around 6:20 pm I drunk tea with my family. I ate papaya too. The taste of that papaya was not good. It was a waste of money but I enjoyed the tea with family.
