Hi steemians all across the globe, warmest greetings from my end (Nigeria). I trust you all are doing well in your various activities, may God continue to bless us all🙇.
To the organiser of this contest @memamun I appreciate your efforts in this community for organizing such a wonderful contest about "The benefits of learning English language"
✅The definition of love is different for everyone, but what is the definition of love for you??
What the Holy Bible says about love is actually the definition of love for me,,,
It says" Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails...,,, 1st Corinthians 13:4-8a.
That is my definition of love,,, anything aside what I mentioned above is no longer love to me. That is my perfect definition of what love means!!!
✅ You have to feel love, do you think the one you feel comfortable with is love? Or the one you present yourself in front of is love??

I think the one I feel comfortable with is love.
Even though there are other things like aunthencity, deep feeling of affection, growth and others that might be an indicator of love.
But then I think being very comfortable with someone, like sharing my fears, feelings, aspirations and goals with the person comfortably might possibly means love to me.
✅ Family or friends, love is different for everyone, do you think you should ever sacrifice something for love??

We should make sacrifices for love because there is no love without SACRIFICE. When you claim you love someone either a family member or a friend and you cannot make sacrifice for the person then you haven't love the person yet.
When you sacrifice for someone, it shows that you are committed to that person. It will further enhance trust, empathy and understanding between you and the person you have made the sacrifice for.
What sacrifice can also do to love that alot of people aren't aware of is, it will make your bond more stronger, healthier and genuine.
Sacrifice is a strong and powerful ingredient for strong bond when it comes to love. Therefore,, let's endeavor we make sacrifices for our love ones when we possibly can!
✅ Who you love, do they also love you?? Those whom you consider an integral part of your life, do they also think the same??
When it comes to love, it is not always how we want it to be atimes. There are times that you may love someone genuinely but the person in the other hand may not love you back the same way.This is a part of human life.
Regardless of whether they love you back or not, ensure you practice self love in order to be in the safer side.
You might not really know whether those who you consider an integral part of your life think same for you.
The thing is, do not hold someone with so much value when they do not care much about you. Ensure the people you consider as integral part of your life also think same about you.

Of a truth,the best definition of love is the one which the holy book (Bible) talk's about., I love the part where it says"love does not dishonor others and love is not self-seeking. This means that love entails total kindness towards your fellow human not just necessarily to your spouse or brother,but you can show genuine love to anyone.

To me, unconditional love is the best legacy and when we one love someone let it be constant like the love of the Lord. Some love for selfish reasons that's why they can't sacrifice. We should learn to always give positive love energy to the ones we love.
