Bitcoin is my preferred cryptocurrency. Because it was the first cryptocurrency. Its developed and has a large following .So it is regarded as the king of all cryptocurrencies. Consider that in a forest full of trees. It is the largest and oldest tree.

Since it has been around for a while a lot of individuals have used Bitcoin for online purchases and sales. It's similar to having a trustworthy friend you are able to depend on for your money or investments.

There are ups and downs with layer 2 chains. Positively they speed up and reduce the cost of transactions which is like traveling to your destination more quickly without burning through too much gas. Additionally they aid in easing congestion on the main blockchain improving its efficiency for all users.

There are certain disadvantages though. It can occasionally be a little difficult to set up and operate Layer 2 chains. There's also a tiny risk because they might not provide the same level of security as the main blockchain.
