There's one particular lifestyle I have, I don't like spending necessarily, especially when it comes to all this online stuffs. So you can imagine the joy when I heard I can be earning airdrop for free, getting something for nothing,no work, no investment. It's actually true.

That's when the main topic of this week comes in, AIRDROP. Do you know that by holding certain tokens or participating in certain activities, you can receive airdrops of new tokens or coins, steady for free? Let the gist begin.

The best way to describe crypto airdrop is that it's a marketing tactic used by crypto projects to distribute tokens or coins to users for free. Or we can say is a free distribution of tokens or coins from a project to users in the crypto community. therefore, airdrops are often used to promote a new crypto project and encourage users to try out the project's products or services.

The fun part of it is that Airdrops is simple a way to get free crypto without investment or spending your money.

There's one particular one that is trending now called cyberdoge airdrop, and it's expected to launch in 4 days time, all you need to do is register and share to get more cyberdoge. I have not earn from any airdrop before but hopefully, this cyberdoge will favour us.

The pros:

Like I said, airdrop is a way of earning new cryptocurrency coin and also a way to generate awareness and interest in a new crypto project.
Airdrop is useful in the aspect of distributing tokens or coins to a wide range of users and also as a reward to
loyal users and community members.

The cons:

For example, this cyberdoge that am talking about, we don't know whether it's really or fake until when it's launch because I realized that some airdrops are actually scams and are designed to steal users' personal information or funds.

For those that invested in Airdrops, the value can drop at anytime, resulting to loss to those who invested in it.

Sometime an Airdrops is likely to be scam or pump and dump schemes, just like the cyberdoge I mentioned, so we need to do thorough researched before we participate.

I have been able to explain that crypto airdrops can be use in distributing tokens or coins and that they have some risks and challenges. So my dear steemians, It is necessary to be aware of the potential downsides of crypto airdrops before participating.
