The contribution of men and women in society is invaluable and complementary, with both genders providing distinct and essential roles that should be recognized, valued, and respected equally, rather than compared or measured in terms of superiority.
There is collaborative problems solving and innovation, both gender provides mutual support and empowerment, joint decision making and conflict resolution,shared responsibilities in family and community. So I could say that there is equal responsibility between men and women in the community pertaining to the part they fall on.

Also, In my country Nigeria, men have traditionally held more visible roles in politics and formal jobs, while women contribute significantly in areas like farming, small businesses, and raising families. Though often underrecognized, women are crucial to society and are increasingly taking on leadership roles and pushing for equality, despite facing cultural and educational barriers.

However, historical and cultural factors have traditionally favored men, particularly in areas like,Leadership and decision-making, economic opportunities and access to resourcessEducation and social mobilityEtc Despite these challenges, Nigerian women have made significant strides like;Women like Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, Dora Akunyili, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala who have broken barriers in politics, education, and economics.,Initiatives like the National Gender Policy (2006) and the Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Act (2015) promote women's rights.
Organizations like the Nigerian Women's Association, WRAPA, and NCWS advocate for gender equality.
Nigeria acknowledges the equal importance of men and women, and while progress has been made, ongoing efforts are needed to address persistent disparities and promote true gender equality.

Well I think the both genders could actually not do without eachother, for instance,
Men benefit from women in ways like;Emotional support and nurturing,Partnership and companionship,Different perspectives and insights,Shared responsibilities and household management and also in the spiritual aspect where women stands in gab for them, while women benefit from men in ways like,
Economic support and stability,Protection and safety,Companionship and social connection, also shared decision-making and problem-solving.
However I would say that mutual respect, trust, and communication between men and women should be made crucial in either not to make life difficult for the other

Yes, mutual respect between men and women is essential for healthy relationships and society. Respect fosters understanding, equality, and cooperation, allowing individuals to support one another and thrive together. When both genders are valued, it creates a more inclusive and harmonious environment.
Therefore, I buy to the idea that both gender should respect each other.

In summary, I agree to the fact that respect should come from both genders but I think women should be more respectful cause they are meant to be submissive
No one would love to stay in a place he or she isn't respected because they know everyone deserves respect.
