Good day steemians!

Vice President Sarah Duterte resigned as the DepEd Secretary before school year 2024-2025 started. But before she resigned, she implemented a program that could help the learners develop their Mathematical skills.

She hired math wizzards, or writers/teachers who were expert in Mathematics and would make a lesson scripts as guide of the teachers in the future.

As I open the said lessonscript, I am so amazed because it was organized and the teachers will just copy and paste for their powerpoint presentation.

I appreciate and understand their lesson scripts because I am a Math teacher, how about to those teachers who were not Math majors?

I can say that the intension of implementing this so called NMP as part of the learner's schedule is good but I feel so sad because it was not utilized properly esp to those non-Math majors. They can understand the lessonscript but they cant dig deeper esp when there were learners who wanted to ask. So, to avoid that they will just find another topic that they can comprehend and can answer queries if learners wanted to ask something.

Our class sched making has a proposal to our principal last week, she proposed to remake the classsched and will give the NMP class to the Math teachers provided that they will just have 4 loads per day... And as of the moment, the principal havent approved it yet due to some reasons.

And if I were to ask, it is ok for me in that set up. Because it is better to prepare Math and NMP class than to prepare EsP for my advisory class. I am really so bad in reading, and esp class has lots of articles to read. That was the reason why I havent helped our registrar because I had to prioritize my class. I had to study hard and prepare my materials so that I can rely the topic to my learners well.

Being a teacher really had a lot of surprise jobs and responsibilities but LABAN LANG because this is my chosen profession.
