Owning digital assets has become simple as the world has been digitalize. People own things like digital art, music or any virtual property. Some examples are cryptocurrencies, online banking etc. While some people are finding ways to monetize their digital assets by selling or trading them online. How much it is important to keep your digital asset safe

Just as we most time keep our physical properties in a safe and secured place to avoid being stolen or damaged by either insert, rust or getting perished, same is applicable to digital asset.It is very important to keep your digital assets safe and secure from theft. After all, these assets may be worth a lot of money and have sentimental value, so we all want to make sure they are not lost or stolen.

There are several ways to keep your digital assets safe which we will discuss in the one of the topic in my todays writing.

How can your digital assets be manipulated by unauthorized access (Write three reasons)

It's has been confirm that there is nothing in the cyber world that is 100% safe and secured. There are three main ways that unauthorized users can manipulate ones digital assets

1. they can gain access to someones account by using a weak password or through phishing, thanks tricking someone to follow a link that will end up capturing their password and loggins, it is very common now especially on the social medias.

2. they can take advantage of software vulnerabilities, someone may asked what is software vulnerabilities?. A software vulnerability is a security flaw in a computer program that allows an attacker to gain access to the system or data. Like, It's a kind of bug in the software that makes it possible to exploit the program and do things that the developers didn't intend doing. This can be caused by mistakes in the coding or they can be introduced intentionally by malicious actors(hackers).

3. So on this note we can compromise our hardware or network. By using strong passwords and 2FA that is two factor authentication, you can make it harder for hackers to gain access to your account with this method.

Most time to protect our physical properties that are expensive, we may choose a very secret and tactical way of keeping them safe from rubbery or losing them. Here in digital asset the are also different ways of keeping our asset safe and secure but to match the contest directory, I'm going to state three and highlight on them.

Here I'm going to discuss the three important way of keeping our digital asset safe and secure which are ENCRYPTION , BACKUPS and GOOD PASSWORD PRACTICE.

• Encryption: encryption here involves scrambling your data so that it can only be read by someone with the right key, the are many ways the computer can encrypt our documents so that it won't be easy for unauthorized body to penetrate. Some people may use to olden method example, column cypher or book cooding.

• Backups: this ensures that your data is safe even if your device is lost or damaged, they can still be retrieved.

• Good password practices: strong passwords and two-factor authentication can help prevent our information from being stolen. It's is common that there are a lot of cyber attack in the cyber world, so it is regarded as a good practice to always make our password strong by combining alpa, numeric and special characters. Also frequently changing our password Incase they may be suggested.

Together, these methods can provide a high level of security for our digital assets. By using those three methods, it can help keep our information safe and prevent loss or damage to our data.
