The Best TV Show - FRIENDS: "From Central Perk to Our Hearts"

So, let me ask a question. What do you guys do when want to enjoy your free time, relax after an exhausting day, or get lost in another world for a while? I know there are so many options available these days. But, a good TV show is also a nice option for all of this. Yeah, it's true it's a bit time-consuming. But who tells you to watch it straight away in one day? We can manage it right?
So, it's a nice contest about The Best TV Show by @steemdoctor1 to remind me of some quality times I had.
From sitcoms, and fairies to game shows, and reality shows to scientific and thrillers there are so many varieties. And with the new revolutions in technology, we don't need to sit in front of the TV to see a local drama. Life is so much easier than that. TV shows are really a great form of entertainment that has the ability to engage, relax, and connect us with others.
So, let's see what's my favorite one.
My Favorite TV show and the reasons for loving it
Well, I have watched hundreds of TV shows. Well out of them Friends is my favorite. It's a popular sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004 for 10 seasons.
The show is very simple, a low budget, and centers in Central Perk, New York City. It shows the lives of a group of six friends in their 20s and 30s as they navigate work, relationships, and life in the city. The main reason I like is the scenes and characters are so relatable and well-developed with a lot of emotions. There are no complex/ scientific/ knowledgable themes around this show. The lifestyle of these 6 friends with a higher sense of humor.
Every time I watched it, god knows how many times, I can cut out my stress away. If you complete the 10 seasons, most probably you will get addicted to it and rewatch it again and again. That's the beauty of this.
The cast has great chemistry and their performances are unique. The way they care about each other, all I am asking is how lucky to have that kind of friendship!
The main characters and plot of the show
It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. Well, there are 6 main characters in the show.
Rachel Green - by Jennifer Aniston. She is a fashion-conscious and spoiled woman but eventually becomes successful and mature.
Monica Geller - by Courteney Cox. A perfectionist working as a chef, a bossy, and a control freak who is the glue that holds the team.
Phoebe Buffay - by Lisa Kudrow. A free-spirited masseuse and musician with an unconventional and quirky personality.
Joey Tribbiani - by Matt LeBlanc. A good-looking, girl's hero, living as an actor that is most generous in their friendship.
Chandler Bing - by Matthew Perry. The sarcastic guys who joke in every moment. Mostly has fear of commitment.
Ross Geller - by David Schwimmer. A paleontologist and Monica's brother. Has a geeky and awkward personality and nicely portrays different scenarios in his life.
So, as I said earlier the show is about how these friends go through their life from unstable behaviors to mature ones. Through ups and downs how the group sticks with each other is amazing.
Does that show provide information to you? Mmm...
Well, the show doesn't provide much complex information or data. But it reveals nice secrets about our life. How the relationships and friendships are going on and little secrets to success. I can express my ideas about this so much by using characters separately. But here are a few life lessons.
- The importance of friendship and close relationships
- The value of honest and open communication
- The value of following our passions and being committed to them
- It's okay to make mistakes in life
- We are not perfect in every aspect. So, it's okay to forgive your close ones
Where you watch that show?
Well, it's already aired. The last episode is nearly 20 years ago. I have the collection of all of its episodes with me, downloaded.
Do I recommend it?
Well, honestly I recommend it to anyone. I am giving it 10 out of 10 for this. As it's simple and doesn't have a big theme you can watch it anytime. If you are a fan of character-driven sitcoms and being related to relationships I suggest you to try this.
