The technological news that has impacted me the most is the mainstream introduction of Artificial Intelligence—AI.

It is a technology which helps to simulate human intelligence in machines which were made to think and work like humans.

But the thing is that AI wasn't just limited to machines that were created to behave as humans. It has a far-reaching impact now.

For instance, the popular Chatgpt Is an AI infused software that helps in creating content from anywhere in the world with having to break a sweat.

Asides from Chatgpt, there are other uses of AI in our lives. Like in our traditional social media apps, AI helps the algorithms to bring about related posts and mutuals together.

AI is also used in different other websites and applications to perform specific functions. In some, it is to prevent fraud, while in others, it is to collate data which can be very beneficial.

One thing I actually felt from AI is being able to use your WhatsApp to download videos from Instagram, Facebook, and even audios and stickers.

Yes there has been an impact on the society at large. And everyday it is increasingly becoming important in our society and it is showing great potentials to cause revolutions in different industries such as healthcare, entertainment, finance, education etc.

We have experienced a sudden improvement of efficiency, increased accuracy, and cost reduction in some of these industries.

In the entertainment industry for instance, AI has been used to create special effects, make tasks automated, and even gone as far as generating entire movies. It can also create new storylines and characters.

AI has helped majorly to digitalize the society in a remarkable manner. Now we can collect, process, and analyze large data at a rate that is faster than before.

Like I just mentioned about Chatgpt on WhatsApp, you can easily get data of any kind on your WhatsApp. Now think of other more complex AIs.

And because of all these new technologies have been created, processes in businesses have been improved upon, and the level of efficiency has been noticeable in industries.

Finally, we can see a hand of AI in different forms media like text to videos and 3D.

⭐ If you could venture into a technological advance (medicine, entertainment, daily life, artificial intelligence, cryptocurrencies), what would that area be and why?

The technology advance I would like to venture into is Artificial Intelligence.

The reasons why I chose artificial intelligence are stated below:

1. It is a technology that has been on the horizon for the past decade or more. It has gained a lot of attention during this time and is set to even evolve further. That means the future is for AI and there would be a lot of opportunities for more AI startups to be opened.

2. When you get down to the what AI does, it can read for us, see, read, write, hear, transcribe, analyze etc. With all these, businesses and organizations can be completely transformed, where their processes reimagined and streamlined.

I expect 2024 to continue in the momentum it has been on this year 2023.

In 2023, much of the technological advancements was in the Artificial Intelligence industry. And at this rate it is set to continue because of its sheer inclusiveness in our everyday life, especially as it is easy to use.

We expect more AI companies and startups to come out and start giving out services.

However, it is also good to note the recent developments in the blockchain industry.

Recently, the prices of leading cryptocurrencies have gone up, thereby catching the attention of the world.

And the way it is, the price is set to increase even more. For instance, Bitcoin is set to experience another halving and this event usually has the potential to move the price higher.

We will be expecting these mentioned above and some more.
