Hello, STEEMIT 💙

In this opportunity, I make official my participation in this marvelous contest called ShowYourTalent with Steem - Contest #11: Design a mascot that represents Steem, with which the great friend and promoter of Steem in my country @oscarcc89, seeks and contributes to promote our blockchain and our currency through art and creativity with this fun contest. Thank you, friend.

For this important event I took the audacity to design a nice painting called "my best friend forever", well yes, this time it occurred to me to draw and paint myself hugging a beautiful pet, a Saint Bernard dog that as we all know the dog is man's best friend and the Saint Bernard is known around the world for being a lifesaver dog, just as Steem is doing with many people in my country "Venezuela", for that and many more things "Steem" will be my friend forever, because thanks to "Steem" my life is changing for the better. Thank you.

After so much thinking and thinking I decided to draw as a pet Steem the most faithful friend we humans have, a beautiful dog and I decided to draw a Saint Bernard because some time ago I had a dog of this breed, and I loved him as if he was another brother, my dog was called "Napo" and he was always very intelligent, faithful, affectionate, a great guardian, I remember he died one December because he was afraid of the rockets and sound of fireworks, it was a very sad December for everyone at home, no doubt this pet represents Steem in almost every way, for example Steem is a faithful friend of all its users, so as I said before, I took the boldness to make a very original drawing, and what more original than a self-portrait hugging my best friend.

Without further ado I invite you to enjoy this perfect idea to decorate our favorite walls without spending money and the best thing is that it is made of materials that we can find anywhere at a low price, and above all with lots of love. Let's start...

To make this beautiful work we will need:

• Foamy or eva foam.
• Scissors.
• Bookmark.
• Pencil.
• Brushes.
• Paintings.
• Rule.
• Glue.
• Cardboard sheet.

Procedimiento (paso a paso)

Step1

First, we let our creativity and imagination fly to design and draw this beautiful artwork, we started to define the details of our mascot and continued with all the features and details of the girl.

Step2

Once the desired drawing was obtained, we began to cut out the mascot, the hats and the rest of the details that make up this beautiful drawing, believe me it was so beautiful that I didn't feel like cutting it out.

Step3

Next, we transfer each piece to the colored foamy we have, and we cut it out very carefully so that all the measurements remain intact. It would be a shame to damage our work or waste material.

Step4

Now, we begin to give life and color to our elegant St. Bernard, we paint his face with a white spot in the center and the rest in brown to simulate a very real dog, then we mark its edges with black to make the colors look a little more intense.
