Es un placer saludarles y participar hoy en este concurso Reminder / Change of date. Saturday 14.- Week 5 con una de mis fotografías favoritas, la cual ya tiene bastante tiempo en mi celular y no sabía si publicarla o usarla para algún concursos, y hoy llegó su oportunidad.

Saturday 14.- Week 5 with one of my favorite photographs, which already has enough time on my cell phone and I did not know whether to publish it or use it for some contests, and today came its opportunity.

Recuerdo perfectamente el día que tomé esta fotografía, la tomé en (Cabudare-Venezuela), fue el día que mi novio comenzó un trabajo cerca del mío aunque su hora de entrada era antes que la mía, yo salí a la misma hora que él para no irme sola después y me quedé esperando en una plaza cercana.Recuerdo perfectamente el día que tomé esta fotografía, la tomé en (Cabudare-Venezuela), fue el día que mi novio comenzó un trabajo cerca del mío aunque su hora de entrada era antes que la mía, yo salí a la misma hora que él para no irme sola después y me quedé esperando en una plaza cercana.

I remember perfectly the day I took this photograph, I took it in (Cabudare-Venezuela), it was the day that my boyfriend started a job near mine although his entry time was before mine, I left at the same time as him so as not to leave alone afterwards and I was waiting in a nearby square. Mientras esperaba mi hora de entrada, miré profundamente la estatua, el paisaje con las flores y lo bien cuidada que estaba (es algo poco común en mi país), pensé que sería una buena fotografía y realicé varias tomas pero esta es la que más me gustó. || While waiting for my check-in time, I looked deeply at the statue, the landscape with the flowers and how well maintained it was (it is something uncommon in my country), I thought it would be a good photograph and I took several shots but this is the one I liked the most.

Es una estatua de Simón Bolívar (libertador de varios países de Latinoamérica), Simón Bolivar nació en Venezuela y es signo de admiración en Venezuela. Yo actualmente me encuentro en (Medellín- Colombia), aquí existen algunas calles que se llaman Bolivar en su honor porque Colombia fue uno de los países que liberó del yugo español.

It is a statue of Simón Bolívar (liberator of several Latin American countries), Simón Bolivar was born in Venezuela and is a sign of admiration in Venezuela. I am currently in (Medellín- Colombia), here there are some streets that are called Bolivar in his honor because Colombia was one of the countries that liberated from the Spanish yoke.

Hasta el momento esa es una de las estatuas más bonitas que he visto de Simón Bolívar y me alegra tenerla documentada en una fotografía de mi autoría.

So far that is one of the most beautiful statues I have seen of Simón Bolívar and I am glad to have it documented in a photograph of my authorship.
