Lightpainting with Steel Wool
Light painting with steel wool is an exciting but also dangerous thing. When the sparks fly around you should be very careful and wear the right protective clothing. This picture is one of our first experiments in which my friend "Burner" turned steel wool with a cordless screwdriver with me as a model.
About Light Painting:
Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
Give Lightpainters United a follow and you will be introduced into the world of light painting.
Yes it is... I worked as bricklayer for more than 2 years, and some time sparks hit my eyes... not a good emotion!! :) But your photo is awesome like always!!
