Lighting up St.Benet's Abbey in Norfolk, England at night - also driving my car like I stole it to get here!
After nearly a week of incessant rain and disappointment, I finally managed to get out and shoot St.Benet's Abbey in the dark. In fact as soon as I saw a clear sky, I drove my car like I stole it to get here before it started raining again! I could have light painted here all night but being in the middle of the Norfolk Broads and rivers, condensation soon got the better of me.
Lit entirely with a gelled LED Lenser X21r2 with me running around in the dark (which might explain why I was condensating too!)

These images were created in one photographic exposure which in these cases is quite tricky rushing about in complete darkness!

Superlative use of colored light. I especially like the color scheme of the second shot best. I wish the light-sphere had been in that one too.

Thanks mate, with a 3 hour drive to get here for me, I have to be certain I will get good weather! I found an abandoned farm near to this location too which needs checking out...
Totally worth the effort. I have the feeling it works in any weather. Foggy mystery could do it too.
