Spring festival as in New Year?
The "Valborg" celebration is deeply meaningful in Sweden, marking the end of their long, emotionally challenging winter that tends to make them introspective and reserved. I sensed a certain melancholy among them, but as Italians, we did our small part to warm the Swedish souls with our unpredictable flair, bringing smiles wherever we could. It's nearly one year ago. Perhaps I make it tk Trieste this summer but first I go to my son. He might visit France for some build a pCO2 low car event but it's terribly organized and he needs to translate the 'manual' and can't stand camping with 1000 men sharing the same toilet 😐
If not another time or perhaps I go to Malta and take a boat to Sicily to see what is left of those islands after the invasion but it depends.
My friend told me her daughter received an invitation for the army so let's see if mine receives one too. My son did not receive one yet but no way they go fight someone else's war.
I will post and write more in freewriters tales&stories italy I think dream steem can be an option although weisser-rabe and dove11 are curators. I bumped into another community/contest where they said everyone can join. I'll see if I can find it back. Fadthalib likes to learn how to write stories let's help him. I asked him if he likes to write one with me in turn. It's how I started here with a collegue writer. He can write and I'll follow and twist and change, it's good for the brain and creativity.
I think to receive a higher upvote by upex you should not upvote but I am not sure. I asked someone. By now he answered each question. My first post only has a few cents.
I will still post my original content only and see if I can grow stories to give better upvotes to those who write. There must be a way without taking a loan and buying Steem for 10,000 euros.
First step with this account is to post elsewhere, if I join a contest I'll post it elsewhere too so I can write how I like (I did it a few times) and see how many times it will be upvoted for at least 1$.
I noticed most votes received are 0, even many big fish only give 0,01 it's goid enough to keep CSI high and the amount of upvotes. If everyone we know would upvote it would look different too.

Beautiful Trieste, I will be in Venice at the end of May for the Biennale; northeastern Italy attracts me, perhaps because I have Venetian origins from my maternal grandmother, even though I was born in Piedmont and moved to Milan out of boredom. 😜

My son needs to translate from Hugarian into English I guess Shell likes English over France.
I thought it might be a good idea if he goes since he speaks/understands at least 4 languages although he hates talking (unless he calls me ... and is doing his thing while let me listening to ???) but he can meet people from different countries.
There's still paradise somewhere although not in Israel or Europe perhaps Africa? Or Antartica (which reminds me of the Titanic when exactly did those polar bears change into grizzly bears?)
