SEC-S16-W5 | Natural spaces
Hello my dear Steemians,
Today I wanted to invite you to the challenge running by Venezolanos Steem Community:

My post I decided to start with a typical symbol of Scotland is purple flower thistle, because majority of the exploration places that we love to visit are here in Scotland.

Every time we have free time we are out, of course, the time when I work and come late home we just do short works and luckily we have many opportunities because our place is small rural area.
One of the place is natural park that is located at the coast, so there is not much pollution from traffic, area is clean and there are a lot of vegetation. I believe in the past there were few old castles and some of them slowly were abandoned and the nature took it back.
Here is one the top of the castle to see, despite of the fact that it was built from rocks from cliffs, we can see how it is almost completely overgrown with green plants, it seems like it is ivy plant, there are many of them here and htey always look green.
When going along the wall of the castle we still can see the remnants of wall that is now supported so that it is not collapsed under the pressure of walls. You also can find the passages that previously were connecting the basement spaces, also you can see this beautiful natural red rocks.
This place is ideal for quick walk and also for some peaceful relaxation after busy day.

If the first place that is described has more rocky place and combination of rocks and vegetation. Then the other place is natural park that belongs to heritage of Scotland as one of the old park.
This place is more like a forest and has water streams, there is no place for cars and many trees, mostly evergreen trees. Scotland has many evergreen trees because of the cold weather evergreen grow better and also more resistant to salty water of North sea.
Along the streams there are bridges, they are stone bridges from old time but also there is wooden bridges. Luckily they are in good condition.
When we come to this place we need to drive with car it is about an hour so we spend the whole day there, we take some food for picnic and usually return in the afternoon.

This is another place that I discovered for me when I was visiting my family in London. You can imagine that it is quite busy place and a lot of cars, I was surprised when I heard that there is such place where you can see some wild animals too.
We were lucky when we saw this fox, that was running free and had no problem when it saw us approaching it.
When we were in this park we saw many children of different ages and parents were happy to see how the kids were having fun seeing these wild life. As to squirrels, they were fed with peanuts so they were running all around the visitors and also had no problem come very close and grab some nuts offered on the hands.
On one of the maintenance houses we saw heron, that was there and having some rest.

The best time is string because then all green look "very green" and also we have many little flowers.

Yes, the park in such a big city and with wildlife was a great surprise, we definitely a lot of fun :)

The natural place is really a sight to behold, touring the caves with I beauty is really a beautiful ancient artefact. Es toda una experiencia poder caminar y ver los arroyos la fauna , el zorro se dejó tomar una foto, es un lugar hermoso para desconectar de la rutina y respurar baire puro, la idea del picnic me gusta

Thank you for reading and for learning more about Scotland. There is much to discover even for us despite of already 10 years here we still have much to discover. My favourite is the castle that is covered with vegetation, slowly it is a place to live for wild animals.

When I was young, my grandfather told me that Scots thistle can be dangerous to livestock because animals can ingest the spikes, leading to gastrointestinal problems.
However, thistle has very beautiful colors :)
Scottish thistle looks beautiful on close up photography but when you see them in nature they look like very simple plants. I love the colours :)
