I Hope you all are well and doing great in your life .Today I am participating in this SEC-S16-W1 | Tradiciones culturales organized by Venezolanos Community , As soon as I saw this contest I was very happy because through this contest I will get a chance to learn about the traditional cultures of people from other countries and I will also be able to show the culture of my country to others.So let's start.

Tell us about one or two cultural traditions from your town, city or country. What dates is it celebrated?

In my country Pakistan, people belonging to different religions celebrate different cultures.As the majority of Muslims in our country, many Islamic festivals are also celebrated, including Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha and Eid Milad-ul-Nabi, which are celebrated with enthusiasm throughout the country by offering prayers, fasting, giving zakat and family gathering.

The first cultural tradition that I am going to tell about which is celebrated with great enthusiasm in our country is Eid al-Fitr, on this day people offer special Eid prayers in a closed mosque or in an open place.

All people wear new clothes on this day.It is celebrated for three days in which families and friends gather together and before Eid al-Fitr people also give charity during the days of Ramadan so that those who cannot afford new clothes can also buy new clothes with this money and on the days of Eid wear new clothes and join in the joy.

On the days of Eid al-Fitr, people prepare special dishes and the whole house is filled with the aroma of food and on these days children are given Eid which is given to the children by the elders of the house and as gifts are also given to the children.

All the streets and bazaars are full of decorations and these days traditional music is playing and the bazaars are bustling, everyone is buying new clothes, jewelry and gifts and all the streets are full of lights. People walk till late at night and people go to markets.

In which places they are carried out. Have you ever participated in the organization of those traditions?

This cultural tradition is celebrated all over the country, wherever there are Muslims, it is celebrated all over the world, during which all Muslims come together and offer prayers and give charity.Throughout Ramadan we Muslims fast and worship and on the day of Eid al-Fitr we celebrate.

Right from childhood till now we wait for this day whole year because this day is very special for us.Because on this day we all wear new clothes and get ready and we also meet our families and also go to our friends' houses and take gifts and sweets for them and in these days we also get gifts.

You identify with that celebration or you don't like it.

Yes this is my most favorite cultural tradition which I celebrate with great enthusiasm since my childhood and I look forward to this day every year and on these days I go to market with my family and do shopping for this day.

I bring new clothes, shoes and jewelry and also bring gifts for my friends and visit them at their homes and bring sweets.On these days our family cousins also come to our house and bring gifts for us and in return our family also gives them gifts and very delicious food is also prepared on these days.

Are these traditions used to enhance the values of citizenship?

Yes, citizenship values are enhanced in our country through these cultural traditions because on these days people from all backgrounds come together and pray in one community and people from different languages sit together and remember Allah and celebrate these festivals.

These days people like to do charity more and more so that they can deliver these things to the people who can't afford them. To eat good food, so that they can join in the joys with all the people and celebrate.On these days, functions are organized in schools and universities and also in many communities.Because it teaches us to be kind to others and think about others and be a good citizen and treat others well and respect them.

Are these traditions used to promote tourism?

Yes, these traditions also help to attract tourists because there are big parties and celebrations on these days, many tourists see the beautiful decorations and listen to the traditional music of Pakistan and happiness is in the air everywhere.

It is through these traditions that tourists get a chance to learn about Pakistani cultures and see how people pray and share food with other people and spend time with their family and friends on these days.

Pakistan is a hospitable country, we take good care of people from other countries and we also include them in our celebrations and invite them to our homes and share delicious food with them.During the days, the market is filled with decorations and lights and there are many beautiful clothes and food stalls, on these days people eat tasty food and dishes and on this occasion tourists also get a chance to eat different foods.
