28Entonces le respondió Pedro, y dijo: Señor, si eres tú, manda que yo vaya a ti sobre las aguas. 29Y él dijo: Ven. Y descendiendo Pedro de la barca, andaba sobre las aguas para ir a Jesús. 30Pero al ver el fuerte viento, tuvo miedo; y comenzando a hundirse, dio voces, diciendo: ¡Señor, sálvame! 31Al momento Jesús, extendiendo la mano, asió de él, y le dijo: ¡Hombre de poca fe! ¿Por qué dudaste? 32Y cuando ellos subieron en la barca, se calmó el viento. Mateo 14:28–32 (RVR1960)

Saludos amados hermanos este pasaje bíblico nos da mucho conocimiento en tantas enseñanzas, tenemos la posibilidad de ver partir de diversos puntos y en todos ellos Dios nos mostrará algo de este tema o reflexión especial. La historia nos muestra cuando Jesús estaba caminando de pie sobre el mar, sus discípulos asustados pensando que era un espanto estaban nervioso dando voces de temor. Pero a lo largo de aquellos paisajes de miedo y temor aparecer Jesús para decirnos: Tened ánimo; yo soy, no temáis.

Entonces rápidamente se levanta uno de sus discípulos, ese que era el portavoz de los doce y a quien constantemente le gustaba sobresalir de entre todos diciéndole: pero señor si eres tú, manda que yo vaya a ti sobre las aguas, era claro que Pedro ya se había fijado que el señor. Estaba sobre las aguas y por eso mismo le pidió que él quería tener la dicha de caminar sobre las aguas, algo que humanamente y sin ningún mecanismo es imposible.

Jesús no se negó frente a la súplica de pedro, vio que su súplica indica cantidades de FE, Él le respondió: Ven, como una vez que de repente estamos tan asustados por las situaciones que permanecen a nuestro alrededor y le ordenamos a nuestro señor. Que deseamos estar cerca de Él, él constantemente nos responderá VEN, y es por el hecho de que el anhelo de nuestro Dios. Es que nuestra fe aumente todos los días para lograr creer en sus promesas.

En aquel momento Pedro descendió de la barca y al pie de la letra andaba sobre las aguas para visitar Jesús, que bonita vivencia, exclusiva, de aquellas que nunca se olvidaran, ¿Cuántos de nosotros mismos quisiéramos caminar sobre las aguas para acercarnos a Jesús?, la realidad es que pese finalmente que iba a tener esta historia, te puedo afirmar que en este instante Pedro era el ser humano más feliz de todo el mundo, está a pie sobre las aguas, puesto que su fe se lo estaba permitiendo.

Al igual que Pedro varios de nosotros mismos salimos de la barca del pecado y comenzamos a caminar por fe hacia Jesús, la fe que nos hizo creer que podíamos tener una mejor vida, una fe que nos permitió dejar aun lado toda duda e iniciar a caminar en el del señor. Aquellos segundos fueron una de las superiores vivencias que Pedro nunca olvidaría, pero después ocurrió algo imprevisto o es decir algo que tiene que pasar para probar nuestra fe: Sin embargo, al ver el profundo aire, tuvo temor; y empezó a hundirse.

La trayectoria ha sido exclusiva para Pedro, aquello marcaría su historia de una manera, además era un calificado de atención para no volver a dudar; sin embargo, te aseguro que a partir de aquel instante Pedro no dudó más jamás de que Jesús no lo dejaría hundirse. Probablemente, los últimos días has sentido que los vientos fuertes han atacado tu vida, sientes que tambaleas y que lentamente te estás hundiendo, sin embargo, déjame decirte en esta hora, que Jesús NO TE DEJARA HUNDIR, pues EXTENDIENDO SU MANO Y NO TE SOLTARÁ.

28Then Peter answered him and said, "Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. 29And he said, Come; and Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, saying, Lord, save me! 31And immediately Jesus put forth his hand, and took hold of him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? 32And when they got into the boat, the wind died down. Greetings beloved brothers this biblical passage gives us much knowledge in so many teachings, we have the possibility to see starting from different points and in all of them God will show us something of this special theme or reflection. The story shows us when Jesus was walking standing on the sea, his disciples scared thinking that it was a fright were nervously shouting in fear. But throughout those landscapes of fear and dread Jesus appears to tell us: Be of good cheer; I am he, do not be afraid.

Then quickly stands up one of his disciples, that one who was the spokesman of the twelve and who constantly liked to stand out from all saying to him: but lord if it is you, command that I come to you on the waters, it was clear that Peter had already noticed that the lord. He was on the waters and for that very reason he asked him that he wanted to have the joy of walking on the waters, something that humanly and without any mechanism is impossible.

Jesus did not refuse in front of Peter's plea, He saw that his plea indicates amounts of FAITH, He answered him, Come, as once we are suddenly so frightened by the situations that remain around us and we command our lord. That we desire to be close to Him, He will constantly answer us COME, and it is for the fact that the longing of our God. It is for our faith to increase every day to achieve belief in his promises..

At that moment Peter descended from the boat and at the foot of the letter walked on the waters to visit Jesus, what a beautiful experience, exclusive, of those that will never be forgotten, how many of us ourselves would like to walk on the waters to approach Jesus, the reality is that despite finally going to have this story, I can tell you that at this moment Peter was the happiest human being in the whole world, he is walking on the waters, since his faith was allowing him to do so.

Just like Peter, many of us stepped out of the boat of sin and began to walk by faith towards Jesus, the faith that made us believe that we could have a better life, a faith that allowed us to leave aside all doubts and start walking in the Lord's. Those seconds were one of the best moments of our lives. Those seconds were one of the superior experiences that Peter would never forget, but then something unforeseen happened or something that has to happen to test our faith: However, when he saw the deep air, he was afraid; and he began to sink.

The trajectory has been exclusive for Peter, that would mark his history in a way, besides it was a qualified attention not to doubt again; however, I assure you that from that moment Peter never doubted again that Jesus would not let him sink. Probably, the last few days you have felt that strong winds have attacked your life, you feel that you are staggering and slowly sinking, however, let me tell you in this hour, that Jesus WILL NOT LET YOU SINK, for HE IS EXTENDING HIS HAND AND WILL NOT LET YOU GO.
