SHINING WITH THE LIGHT OF CHRIST IN THE MIDST OF DIFFICULTY
center>The light will always be stronger than the darkness and when you are light it will shine wherever you are either in the desert or in the calm
Philippians 1:13
"In such a way that my prisons for the cause of Christ have become notorious throughout the Praetorian Guard (throughout the Governor's Palace) and all others."
(New Latin American Bible)
The apostle Paul was one of the men who suffered because of the gospel after he was transformed by Jesus Christ himself. Paul began to look at life and difficulties as they really were, he learned that life without God is nothing and vain.
The apostle Paul learned the lesson of life that our lord gave him for persecuting his people and showed him firsthand what it means to suffer because of the truth.
It is interesting and very relevant the way in which Paul now interprets the problems of life we can visualize throughout his Pauline letters specifically in the letter to the Philippians when we can read his position as a prisoner in a jail.
Suddenly many of the Christian brothers who walked with him and received his teachings may have thought that Paul's ministry had already ended because of his current condition. However, Paul did not think as any of them, Paul had his eyes on the author and finisher of faith in Jesus Christ and for this reason he says: my prisons for the cause of Christ have become notorious throughout the Praetorian Guard and in all the rest.
Notice that the praetorian had ten thousand soldiers and he was tied to a soldier all the time where they were watching him and I am sure that for many this would be an insufferable and chaotic act but for this apostle that desert was a new opportunity to share the gospel, because There everyone knew why Paul was imprisoned and that he kept standing and standing because he knew it was because of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The apostle Paul used this difficulty as an opportunity to shine
Let's learn to use life's problems, let's see problems or deserts as new opportunities, for example, the time of the coranivirus, let's see them as an opportunity to shine and do what we have to do.
We are light in this world and where it wants us to be we must shine regardless of the conditions in the desert, in the green valleys we must shine.
I like the concept behind that picture. In fact it is poetic.
I couldn't agree less with you on this insightful submission. You see, sometimes life could really hit us badly but there's one thing that keeps me going.
Paul indeed looked beyond the circumstance(s) he always found himself. Little wonder that he became the greatest among the apostles.
Thanks ones again for the share, it was a blessing.

Excellent message, motivation is very important in these times of crisis and we must really remember that we are light at all times.
