A great love must be answered with more love

“Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that Jehovah your God is giving you” (Exodus 20:12)

Parents are a great treasure that God allows us to enjoy in this life, those who once could enjoy or still have the privilege of doing so know this, this and the immense, beautiful and indescribable love he receives from them, the more we owe respond to that love.

The bible teaches us that we must honor our parents, it is a mandate from God and in turn it comes with a beautiful promise.

There are many cases of parents who have given everything for their children and when they grow up they completely forget about them, they hinder them, some send them to a place of care for the elderly, forgetting what one day they did so that they were good people and have a good life.

You can also see how many abandoned old men walk the streets today without a family or a roof, forgotten by those who once gave their whole life and love to them.

We must make this verse our own, love and honor our parents always, regardless of their mistakes, they are also people like you and me, they are not perfect, they can also make mistakes, but they are those beings that God chose so that we could be born
Even if they were not good parents, honor them, so that things go well for you, so that you enjoy this promise, so that God considers you an obedient child, if there is resentment in your heart towards them, forgive them, ask God to help you, Through his Holy Spirit, no person can succeed or do well in life when he has roots of resentment against those who gave him life, love your parents, even if they have not Loved you, honor them even if they have abandoned you , this is a great secret that can give you infinite blessings in public.

It is time for your heart to turn to them, you can open your arms and give all that love that once, due to bad decisions or mistakes, you had to suppress.
Such a great love can only be answered with much more love.
