Self-Defense Mechanisms.
When we defend ourselves and act especially unconsciously with respect to emotions and thoughts, it could be said that we are using self-defense mechanisms, it is what a person uses involuntarily to defend himself.
The human being in his complexity uses these mechanisms when he does not want to be hurt or in response to a wound to avoid suffering, not to recognize an inescapable truth.
A person can use these mechanisms rationally if he is a really stable person, but if this is not the case, mechanisms can be created that end up damaging him.
That is why we see some situations that seem crazy in some people, but that have their origin and explanation in the type of life they have led, or what they have been through.
In the case of the loss of a loved one, a person can use a self-defense mechanism such as acceptance but can also use another that would be denial, all this will depend on the attitude and way of being of someone.
The truth is that we must be very careful when taking care of our heart, assuming the pain and how we react to situations that we do not expect and that we obviously do not like, because our being will create mechanisms to defend ourselves and it depends on what we have in the mind and the heart, is what will govern us at that time.
For the children of God there should be a single self-defense mechanism and it is our heavenly father, faith in Him, is what should govern our lives, in that shield is that we should support each other when situations are not favorable, we should not look to another side but to Jesus, author and finisher of faith, as his word says.

Tengo a alguien muy cercano que hace unos 15 días aproximadamente enterró al ultimo de sus cinco hijos ella tiene ya 80 años, no he visto mayor fortaleza y sin embargo no ha querido buscar al Dios verdadero, como muchos creen a su manera, esta en un estado tan agonizante anímicamente, que lloro solo de verla y oírla, sin Dios somos tan inútiles , oro a Dios que tenga misericordia de ella y,le siga dando oportunidad de recibirlo aunque sea en el ultimo día , él es bueno
