This psalm that I share with you now, was written by King David in which he states that his entire life has to do with God and that the desires of his heart have to do precisely with the will of God. David says that outside of God's covering he wants nothing in this life.

David's life is worthy of admiration, even David made very costly mistakes, reached the love and mercy of God, so much so that God even said of David that his heart was like God's. It is something very tremendous and admirable, that a person makes tremendous mistakes and then God sees it as if that person's heart is like God's. This surprises me greatly and leads me to understand that when God shows his love for someone, he forgives them and forgets forever the mistakes that person had made.

The fact that God loved David so much, is what leads David to say, Who have I in heaven but you?
David knew that God was the ultimate in his life and recognized that his full life was in God's hands. David recognized that it was more dangerous to fall into the hands of men than into the hands of God, simply because men do not have mercy, while in God there is love and forgiveness of sins.

By understanding this relationship of David with God, it would be easy to imitate David's life and serve him with the same passion with which David served God.

David did not want anything that did not come from God's will. David knew that no wealth or fortune in this life, was nothing to be coveted than something special that came from the will of God.

All this is something incredible, because in this earthly life we ​​long for wealth and much prosperity, however, David did not want any of this that was not in God's plans for his life.

We must never forget that the companion of our life is the one we have in heaven, God the Father.
