A friend is like a brother in the most needy and urgent moments. It is like the cool breeze in a desert. A true friend is the one who approaches you when you are thrown to the ground.

Sincere friends do not walk in hypocrisy or hide secrets and they give themselves as a bond of love that unites them.
Friendship is priceless and a sincere friend is one of the few in the crowd.

The Bible tells us of the great friendship that existed between Jonathan, the son of King Saul, and David. Some Bible scholars have misinterpreted the friendly relationship between David and Saul's son, Jonatha.

The truth of all this is that the friendship between David and this young man named Jonathan was a very admirable friendship. We all know that Saul was looking everywhere for David to kill him. He launched a murderous chase against David. Meanwhile, Jonathan, Saul's son, always tried to help David and free him from his father's persecution of David.

The friendship between David and Jonathan was so glorious that Jonathan gave up many things to maintain his friendship with David.

And Jonathan and David made a covenant, because they loved him as themselves. 4 And Jonathan took off the robe that he was wearing and gave it to David, and his other clothes, including his sword, his bow, and his saddlery. 1 Samuel 18: 3-4 King James Version (KJV)

Jonathan did not mind taking off his cloak, clothing, sword, and war bow to give it to David.

It is wonderful to know that when there is a real and sincere friendship, the things that are owned are shared as brothers. Friends help and pity each other.

Selfishness has no place among true friends. Trust, affection, appreciation, and honesty play an important role in choosing true friends.
Just as David and Jonathan had a great friendship, in the same way the Lord had a beautiful friendship with Abraham.

We must put the course in God's hands so that he can put people we consider friends in our path.
Do not forget that the friend loves at all times. Friend, it is not when you have economic comforts, but also when things are not going well in your life.

Be very selective with your friends, choose the people that God recommends according to his word, in the counseling manual, which is the Bible.
